Mushrooms are Eaten Raw or Cooked
The most popular way to cook them is: Heat olive oil and butter in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Cook and stir cleaned mushrooms, garlic, cooking wine, teriyaki sauce, garlic salt, and black pepper in the hot oil and butter until mushrooms are lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer until mushrooms are tender, 5 to 8 more minutes.
People bake, boil, grill, slow cook, or microwave them. Or they use them raw for snacks or veggie trays. Either way that you cook them or don’t, using them in your menu is beneficial to your health and fitness and they taste great.
Try a Portobello Mushroom burger! The mushroom is rich and meaty and often used in this way. This is a popular no meat version of a burger. Another way is to hollow out the inside and use the portobello as a bun. How about that?
