Look for Colors
Colorful food tells your brain that they contain nutrients your body needs to fuel your body. The more colors in your diet, the better chance you have providing your body with the things it needs and helps you.
Foods full of yellow, red, and blue hues are higher in antioxidants—the more color on your plate, the better for you. Colorful fruits and veggies are beneficial to heart health also. It is time to look beyond brown and beige foods.
Cherries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries have potent antioxidant powers. Having a daily cup of blueberries is linked to heart health. Including berries in your meals daily is suggested by many meal plans.
Vibrant-colored fruits and vegetables all have beneficial properties for your health. Beige processed foods are not as helpful. Artificial-colored foods do not count. Look for unprocessed whole foods to get the impact. Shop the produce section and fill up on all the great colors.
You can even plant these in your garden to have on your table.
